Going to try to watch at least one horror movie every day this month. First up:

    Blood Sucking Freaks

Goofy flick, nothing even remotely scary here, just pure sleaze, nudity and gore. I rank it up there with the likes of Basket Case and HG Lewis' best, definitely in the same vein.

Even if you're not into horror flicks, I recommend watching this one. Totally entertaining from start to finish.

    9/10

Big fan of Halloween, Halloween 2 and the Scream movies.

Looking forward to AMC's Fear Fest.

Going to watch this tonight. I've seen pretty much every 80's horror flick but never got to this one.

One of my favorites. Being buried in sand on the beach would be brutal just waiting for the tide to drown you.

I just got a special edition blu ray of this and watched all the extra content. I'll probably watch the movie tonight. One of the top werewolf flicks of all time.

Going to order this this week as well:

Did you know that Eddie Quist was also this guy?

Bone Tomahawk. Slow burn with a good payoff.
Horror movies set in the Wild West rule.

I like the one where the guy is fucking the hot girl, she hears a noise, he tells her to ignore it, then they both get chopped to pieces....

Yeah, I can't stand anything new for the most part. The only good new horror movie that I've seen is May, and that's like a decade old. I'm sorta out of it and stick to movies from the 80's or older. I don't know what happened to horror but nobody can make a good one these days.

    It Follows

Has a very 80's John Carpenter vibe right down to the awesome soundtrack.

Best horror film of all time is clearly the orginal Exorcist.

Parts of it may be dated but in terms of quality and influence it is to horror movies what the godfather or Goodfellas is to the gangster genre.
