It was on for a year, then Boom! Gone!
He had WAYYYY to many projects going on to focus on that.
No Howard in blackface.
Cause he sucks shit and doesn't bring any kind of laughs.
Yeah, he was busy producing "CAIN," "DOOMSDAY," and "HOWARD STERN: THE HIGH SCHOOL YEARS." As you well know, each of those shows have been in syndication for more than a decade.
Plain and simple it SUCKED
Ratings were low and a lot of CBS stations wouldn't carry it
Listen, yeah, no. It's a whole thing.
Maybe because it was exactly like his E show?
If you knew the answer, why'd you ask.
Howard said it always beat SNL in the ratings.
This. It sucked. On the other hand, the channel nine show was actually good. Some thought went into it. I'm not sure why it didn't stay on the air. The reason maybe involved marbles.
Howard's story: It was way too successful and affiliates got scared because they feared backlash from the success.
True Story: It was literally the same shit you saw on his E Show and heard on the radio. No unique content. It did really poorly in markets that didn't have Stern. And it didn't do all that well in markets that had Stern. Affiliates started to pull it because they could make more money broadcasting stuff locally like infomercials and reruns.
Why would anyone have cared when the same content was on E! 5 nights a week? And they didn't lift a finger to create anything new for the CBS show....what did they expect?
Who was buried in grant's tomb?
I remember a lot of commercials
Howard also claimed he was number one in every market he was on in. News flash Howard lies.
I actually liked it. Jackie, animation, it was a comedy show back in those days; it was like a western.
Only his hair dresser knows.
