I was listening to the Staff Picks today, and all the old standbys were played, McCartney, Stevie Wonder, Booey's tape etc.

A the time, John Kennedy Jr. was launching George and it was a huge "get". I also remember Robin being pissed as hell because Howard didn't tell her (or anyone for that matter) in advance. It certainly was memorable.

It seems like it's like Alison, never mentioned or replayed. Any thoughts or theories?

How do you find JFK Jr in the phone book?
    Look under water.

How did they do JFK Jr's autopsy?
    They pieced it together.

Why aren't there more JFK Jr jokes out there?
    They just haven't surfaced yet.

Yep...JFK Jr. would be a good replay, but Howard wants to revise his legacy and doesn't want to remind people he asked a beloved (and dead) Kennedy about pussy (and other staple Howard inquiries)...he's guarding his tapes closely and will only play what he wants people to remember him with....there's hundreds of hours of him bashing people and starting feuds with celebrities that would make a great vacation special...but it will never happen...just like it wouldn't be too tough for the tapes team to put together a "best of" week with any given cast member (Artie, Jackie, Billy, John) or a wackpacker, but it'll never happen either...its all about the Wig making nice these days and letting the real Howard out.

Decent, yes, but not that bright. Had his last name been Smith, his political ambitions would have been considered a joke.

It was aired on the E Channel. Sometimes Howard TV will play old clips from the E Channel, but don't know if they ever played the JFK Jr. tape. Yes, he was perfect, extremely gracioius, very nice of him to come on the show. He was a brief friend of Howard's trainer, that guy who owns a gym, dated Julia Roberts, he said JFK Jr set him up in that gym and helped him.

It was Howard's contention he wasn't a bright guy and as it turned out it was dim whitted block headed decisions that lead to his death.

    Darwinism.

Howards friend, pat manoccia or however it is spelled went to brown with jfk jr and they were pretty close. Jfk jr. Did the show as quid pro quo for howard being on the cover of his magazine George.

I used to see jfk jr quite frequently. He lived close to me in Tribeca and he worked near my office. I saw him the day before he died at the orthopedic surgeon's office (he had a broken foot which they say contributed to the crash).

He was gorgeous, funny and kind.
