    Ben Stern

    Born July 11th, 1923

Age 18 years, 5 months at the date of the attack on Pearl Harbor 12/7/1941

21 years old in 1944, during the height of the US participation in the war.

So.....how come he got a free pass and didn't serve?

Jews have, and always have had fathers that somehow get them a bad psych evaluation, or a ticket to Canada....

My dad (who just passed away two weeks ago) was wounded on Iwa Jima while till a teenager. He was a machine gunner and he told me the life expectancy of a machine gunner in battle was 20 minutes. The enemy alway tried to take them out first. He last two days before a grenade killed his two buddies and severely injured him.

Fuck that cowardly Jew bastard Ben Stern and his evil spawn.

My grandfather was in the US Navy and served in the Pacific in WW2. His father went to enlist in the Canadian Army in WW1 because he was living in the US but still a citizen of the UK. Fuck those coward Sterns. :urat:

This is an interesting question. Both my grandfathers and both step-grandfathers served. I distinctly remember my grandmother saying that everyone's boyfriend she knew left to serve, and the ones that were still here not serving, you really didn't want

Indeed! I'm assuming there was rhetorical flourish in that statement, but the look on her face indicated it was a lot of the town oddballs that were leftover in our particular small, Midwestern town.
