i want to start a new thread and upload a .jpg image on my C drive to display in the new thread. when i click "upload image," it doesn't give me an easy search option to look for the image on my C drive and select it to upload it, it asks me to type in the URL, which I have no idea how to do. how do i simply search for and select an image to display?

You are doing something different, you are adding an image from the web when you use the [IMG] which requires a URL.

Uploading from your file I believe you need to go advanced(next to quick reply) and upload from there.

I see no "advanced(next to quick reply)" option when starting a brand new thread and trying to select a .jpg image from my C drive to display. I only see that option when replying in a thread.

Keep rolling down a little (manage attachments)

I went to The Howard Stern Show section, clicked Post New Thread, and there is no option at the very bottom of the new thread post page to Manage Attachments.

hi dawg - i don't know how to work with imageshack, don't want to create yet another account with another web site, and don't know how to use the links they give me after i upload photos there. can't you just add a "manage attachments" option to the create new thread page?

[IMG] Its not at the bottom, its right under where you would click submit new thread in the additional options.

I have posted screen shot and everything so unless for some odd reason you are locked from uploading attachments then I dont know what else I can do.

even when i go into already existing threads and click post quick reply, there is still no Manage Attachments options to allow me to upload .jpgs. bummer.

    Scroll down to Additional Options>Attachments
    Click the "Manage Attachments" button.

For a post, you must "Go Advanced"

NOTE: In the window that opens after clicking the button, you must drag your uploaded image into the box at the bottom of the window that says,"2. Drag previously uploaded files into this area to attach them."

I'll re-post Jackie's image so you know what it looks like.
