i dont think your supposed to throw them in the trash but i do!
I flush them down the toilet.
Wrap them in sheets of plastic and dump them on the side of the highway. Oh wait, that's dead hookers.
take them to radio shack or home depot
What are you supposed to do with them? They always gne in the trash
I throw the big ass printer cartridges from work in the trash. too

Batteries contain a number of heavy metals and toxic chemicals, their dumping has raised concern over risks of soil contamination and water pollution
I only order the styrofoam cups and bowls for my office too because they are cheaper. I am not increasing my overhead just to MAYBE help the Earth.
take them to recycling like i do with my oil and other recyclables.
im to lazy to take a couple of aa s somewhere
I throw them off of the roof of our office building into the day care playground that rests below
You can go around to the back of body shops at night and pick up old car batteries, take them to the scrap yard you get 11$ a piece
