Since Art brought it up on the show, I thought it worth posting some of this. I live in southern Ohio, so it's been all over our news:

New Fireball spotted in Midwest

BY VINCENT PERLERIN, IN FIREBALL LOGS, FIREBALL SIGHTINGS

The mid west has witnessed two major fireball events in less than 2 days.
On Thursday (September 26th), the AMS has received more than 730 reports of a large fireball around 7:05 am local time. Witnesses from Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri and Wisconsin reported a bright light moving across the morning sky.
The second Fireball occurred last night September 27th around 11:30 PM local time over central Ohio. The AMS has tagged over 450 witness reports to this event so far and there are still over 400 awaiting review.

EDIT: Just to clarify what I'm referencing, an elderly couple outside of Peebles, OH were killed when a meteorite struck their home.

The meteor that hit Russia is a hell of a lot scarier than this one was, though:

Also, they've dated a crater off the Gulf of Mexico to within 32,000 years of the Dinosaurs mass extinction, this video provides a pretty well done simulation:

How far do you actually go with your beliefs? I can tell you I truly believe that back in Feb when the meteor exploded over Russia it marked the beginning of the upcoming horror that Comet ISON(I believe this is actually Nibiru/Planet X/Wormwood) is going to bring to us. Like the movie " Armageddon " that meteor was the precursor and early warning about what is coming.

I will pose a theory that is nothing more than many current events that come together to point to something much bigger. The theory or maybe a better way to put it is " an idea I hope I'm wrong about":

- the timing of this government shutdown and conveniently has closed NASA is so creepy and scary to me that I for the first time ever believe something very horrific is coming. With the arrival of what is being billed as a comet that will be viewed by the naked eye as brighter than a full moon and has something traveling behind it which really has all the makings of a Extinction Level Event.

There are many other observatories out there world wide (and amateur astronomers with powerful telescopes that could see and track a large comet/meteor). So just because NASA is shut down, that doesn't mean anything.
