How important is a man's full head of hair to a woman?

We know the lengths Wiggy has gone to mask his bald head. Women of the saloon - how important is it to you that a man have a full head of hair? Men - to your knowledge, have you been dumped or rejected as a result of your bald(ing) head?

The reason I ask is for the past 15 years or so I have regularly shaved my head. Out of laziness, it's grown back out over the summer and early fall and is shaggy and curly now.

I notice women (cashiers and waitresses and customers I meet through work) are, generally, more pleasant and conversational now. A couple have casually touched my am or shoulder. That shit rarely happened before.

Shaved as in cue ball? A totally shaved head can look pretty aggressive on the right/wrong guy.

I used the #1 guard. Yeah, maybe I'm just normal, non-threatening looking now.

Yeah, but it can be pretty sexy, too. And if you have hair, don't have douchey hair. It should look casual, like you don't spend an hour putting crap in it and styling it.

I was mostly referring to the full scalped look. Not saying some wouldn't be into that too....I just think the full scalped look can look a bit agressive to some gals.
I keep mine clipped down to a 1/4 inch of so most of the time, so I certainly don't have an issue with it.

I guess it depends on the face and the shape of the head. I notice the face - eyes and mouth - before the hair.

"According to a study published in the Journal of Social Psychological and Personality Science in 2012, society sees men with shaved heads as being more 'manly.' Participants in the study repeatedly ranked cue-ball men higher for 'masculinity, strength dominance and leadership potential.'"

I like when guys have hair and when the head shaving thing started to take off I couldn't fathom why someone would do that on purpose. But styles change and you get used to things. I still prefer some hair to shaved

just a shaved head isn't going to cause issue, but what's the rest of your look? army fatigues? t-shirts with eagles grasping machines guns and the words "kill 'em all, let god sort them out"?

i completely shave my head a few times a year. not shiny like with a razor, but during the warmer months i will take it all the way down. then i just trim up the edges while it grows back. once it's getting too long, buzz. this is because i don't care anywhere near enough about the look of my hair to pay someone to maintain a consistent look.

    That's hot. :marx:

That kind of confidence is sexier than an obviously styled head of hair.

I have a big fat odd shaped head. They called me "long head" back in boot camp.
I was gonna get a haircut a couple years ago. The wife said she'd rather I didn't. (and she's never seen my malformed head)
So as a result I haven't had a haircut in probably 16-17 years.

your head is fat AND long? she's never seen it, but does she know about it? have you described it to her and told her about bootcamp? if so, was it after doing so that she made the request to not get a haircut?

If you have hair, good. But like Lou said, not overly styled, no douchey hair. :grr:

And once you start losing it, just shave it. That's a good look, and it looks much better than wearing a baseball cap all the time, or a combover, or a wig, or a toupee, or plugs or anything else. Just shave it all off with confidence. That is my advice. Thank you.
