I tuned in for a few minutes on the drive in today and Howard opened the show yet again with Eric's death and tributes. I know that Eric's death was the first time in a long time that there has been a lot of national coverage of the show, but come on. He even was playing tributes from random podcasts. And he is having Beetlejuice in to give a "tribute".

I know Howard doesn't want to work to make the show good and he has no actual writers for the show, but this is going to get pathetic really soon if he talks about Eric's death every day.

I don't think he'll continue. Frankly, I think Howard might be a little afraid of a lawsuit from Eric's parents, so he's taking as much time as he can to praise the little fucker, in order to "head them off at the pass".

A Eric the Midget lawsuit would be epic. Howard wouldn't be afraid of the money of course, but the bad publicity from discovery, terrifies him.

ETM's parents have no idea of the cards they are holding.

The little nut gave the show free content for years and was the only thing funny left on the view, I mean THSS.

But why do you think they have a lawsuit?

Would you rather hear about Beth and their kitten adoptions, or whatever "project" Beth is doing?

    Consider:

He's still doing Teddy kennedy imitations.

He's exploitative. He looks for content to fill the time void on the cheap if not for free. The alternative is relying on Benjy and his bimbo to produce "entertaining" shtick

So will he milk Eric the YackYackYacter's death to death? You connect the dots.

And now the filthy hideous beast is pretending that he was so kind and friendly with Eric. That he loved Eric!! That fucking wig wearer was nothing but mean and cruel towards Eric, all the time. He did nothing but make fun of him. Howard needs to have his ass kicked really severely.

I just read MarksFriggin, Eric comments are sprinkled throughout the entire shitfest. Caller after caller praising the Eric tribute and Howard taking the accolades like he had something to do with it. As long as Howard sees free content and cheap publicity from it he will keep doing it.

I don't listen anymore, but I'm going to take a wild guess and say Wiggy still mentions his movie from time to time.

I said the show, not Howard. And Howard didn't get nearly as much press for Joan's eulogy as Eric's death.

so wrong, nearly every obituary mentioned that Joan was a frequent guest of the Howard Stern show
