I decided to add another heater to my aquarium called the local aquarium shops they wanted $40 -$50 for a heater look on Amazon $15 with $4 same day delivery. And that's not even counting the gasoline I would have to pay to drive to these stores. Same thing with a video game I bought my niece it was $100 at the local Gamestop $50 on Amazon free shipping.

It seems now more than ever that all traditional businesses might all go extinct within the next 10 years

Netflix killed blockbuster the funny thing about that is at one point blockbuster had the opportunity to buy Netflix when he was still in its infancy but they decided it would be a waste of money

I am the same way but it's getting to the point now that the savings in time and gas alone to make it a no brainer to buy stuff online ..it's going to kill me then Best Buy goes out of business cuz I love window shopping in that place

    I didn't know that.

Kinda like Kodak basically inventing digital photography but refusing to make it their business because they made all their money selling film.

There's been news recently that Amazon is investing in its own tractor trailer fleet and jets for air freight. Supposedly they aren't looking (yet) at handling the final leg of deliveries to the customer, but it's probably only a matter of time though. Hopefully Fedex/UPS/USPS have a plan in place to compete.

I hate shopping, I despise crowds and assholes..EVERYTHING and I MEAN EVERYTHING is available online cheaper then shopping for it, if you look around at differant web sites. ESPECIALLY ELECTRONICS. Plus almost everything has free shipping and no tax. Its a no brainer. I buy medicine, shoes, underwear, some food items, all on line.

That is amazons end game. They see Walmart as its nearest competition.

They want to squeeze out the brick and mortar stores.

What I read was the final piece of the puzzle is drone delivery, to cut out UPS and FedEx for all but the larger packages. That's well into the future obviously, maybe they should just buyout UPS instead.

If Amazon Prime had a hole I'd fuck it so hard.

It's the greatest thing. Prime pantry. All your household stuff delivered for $5.99. Good God.
