Overrated , or what ?
Rémy described the French Michelin inspector's life as lonely, underpaid drudgery, driving around France for weeks on end, dining alone, under intense pressure to file detailed reports on strict deadlines. He maintained that the guide had become lax in its standards.
Seems cruel to treat inspectors in this fashion
Wahhhhhh!!! I get underpaid to drive around and eat for a living! And I'm so lonely! Waaaaaahhhhhh!
I'm guessing no one.
I just saw that burnt movie. The judges were crazy with their methods.
I bet @DarkFriday has
Did you enjoy the movie ? I've also watched it and my feeling is that it's interesting and well made .
Been to a bunch of 1s and a few 2s. Never been to a 3 star though.
As far as overrated, I'm a steak and potatoes guy, so most of the sushi and french cuisine places didn't appeal to me.
More of a personal preference thing though.
Yeah it definitely shows how stressful it is to work in a high end kitchen.
Same here, 1s and 2s, never a 3. Great food!
I've driven past the 3 star French laundry in Yountville a dozen times or so, does that count ?
Yes , it's all the same
I sat at the chef's table at Charlie Trotters for my brother's 50th birthday, before Trotter died, it was pretty amazing
makes her tits fat
years ago i had dinner with The Donald (when he still had The Yacht). All the chefs at the Water Club were Michelin rated. The veal still tastes like veal.
