I have a friend that's obsessed with sports .. He's so involved, he was even placing weekly bets with a Bookie, as far back as Jr. High School (no lie)... Yet he never played a day of organized sports in his life .... I always found that perplexing ... It'd be like a trained gourmet chef eating canned Beefaroni every day ....

    I dont understand this behavior

I was gonna try out my freshman year in high school. I didn't make it past the height and weight measurements.

It was before my growth spurt. I was 5'2" maybe 115lbs. My friend was 6'3" and 230. He made it on the team but decided not to accept it.:wtf:

Rooting for your high school team (if you're NOT one of the players) seems even more bizarre to me .... I played Pop Warner & 2 years in High school... When you're practicing until 6 or 7:00 every night, I get the vested interest a player has for wanting all that practice to payoff with a win... But when you have no tie to a team, other than being a buyer of their ridiculously overpriced merchandise, I just don't get the obsessiveness

How in the hell could you possibly have any evidence at all that this is true? Has someone interviewed people at games to see if they have played? This is just more hate coming out. You and 2 manboobs make a real pair.
