We used to have 4 subscriptions and paid about $400/year total for all of them, plus the purchase of the equipment.

Now we have 1 subscription of $25.00 for 6 months.

Just got my annual renewal notice this week. Last year I called and negotiated a deal for 80 bucks for the year for two radios and internet. The renewal notice states, 159.39 per radio + 19.92 MRF fee + 38.50 for internet. I'll call them a few days before it's due and negotiate or cancel if not happy and wait for the 25$ for 6 month offer to arrive in the mail.

It sure looks like their income is just a fraction of what they used to get.

I only had 1 subscription and I think I was paying $15/month or so back in 2006 and 2007 - I canceled a while ago and still get the emails with the offer of 6 months for $25.

After I canceled I signed up for a number of free internet trials for a while, but that's not even worth the effort anymore.

Did the lifetime thing in 2006, but I havent used it in 2 years.

I dont listen to Beth's show anymore, but like SXM for ESPN and music when renting a car.

I couldn't get a $25 offer - best they offered was $46/9 months and that was after letting it lapse for a month. What is this free app?

*Pay* for listening to the Stern Show??

Hey...now there's a somewhat nifty sounding idea...I just wonder if they could somehow figure out a way of actually making that work.

    Follow the money.
    ...not the Stern..Show.

Canceled 3 years ago. There are tons of other music options for free, and you couldn't pay me to listen to the big, ugly, closeted, wig wearing gargoyle anymore.

    Half off for a year.

A mistake not signing up for lifetime subscription.
