Will it be a global sensation or a huge flop ? Opens this week.
Zero buzz... Zero interest
Chuck and JC both are rolling over in their graves about this piece of shit remake.
Well JC might be rolling over on a cloud.
I saw the trailer. Looked like 'Fast and Furious - Jerusalem Drift'
This movie is on track for a monumental bust.
I think they should remake Spartacus next... with an all female black cast
That will move the country forward
Kevin Hart is Spartacus
They are opening it a day early on Thursday.
I'm actually considering seeing it, just b\c my Mother let me skip something at school to be at home that day to watch the famous Chariot Race in the original ...
It's going to be a monumental bomb. Is it me or has this summer been one of the worst in recent memory for movies? Just wall to wall garbage.
Omg are you 80 years old?
In late July, The Hollywood Reporter said Ben-Hur was tracking to make about $14-$15 million in its first week. That would be a total disaster for a film that cost close to $100 million to make.
Compare that to Sausage Party which made $33.6 million its first weekend and only cost about $19 million to make.
"Hey guys, let's remake the best movie of all time!"
"Yeah, that's a great idea!"
Said no one ever...
I'm a stick in the mud and only enjoy movies I've already seen at least 10x
Half - that .....
It will make less $ than Beer League
Millennials could give 0.0 shits about it
If the movie was any good, it would have been released between Memorial Day weekend and 4th Of July weekend. Late August is typically a time for studios to dump their trash into theaters and hope some suckers will go to see it.
This movie will make less than $10 million in it's first weekend
Yeah it's going to lose a lot of money
is this with a female ben-hur? like benita-hur!
if so, just shoot me! if not, it would be hard to fuck up this story.
Hollywood really does SUCK...both tv and big screen. All they can do are remakes of old movies/shows or "reality" tv. There is NO creativity in that town anymore.
