Howard has hundreds of millions of dollars already. I can deal with the commercial breaks, but the live reads are out of control especially when he interrupts the news constantly. Let's say he does seven live reads a day and makes $1,000 per live read. 120 shows over the course of the year. That's $7,000 per day, $840,000 over the course of the year. After taxes, management fees, etc, he probably takes home $400,000 per year on top of his $80 million dollar salary just for doing live reads. That's about a half of a percent increase over his regular salary. So I guess the price to completely sell out and drive his show to ruin is pretty cheap (comparatively speaking). Certainly it's money he could live without if he were concerned about the quality of his show.
