All you do is pay 100 bucks and this whole thing comes to an end! This is a Daisy chain of cheap douche bags...
Stern related because I am almost 100% positive that Howard, or better yet, Beth will be challenged at some point, and instead of coughing up the money, he will make it into a cinematic event with her on the beach in her skimpiest bathing suit all coy, shying away from the water, and giggling like the psychopathic idiot that she is....
I give enough money to charity Robin, people just don't know about it......
Yeah, we actually don't know about it.....

    All that ice? Feh!

    From Marks Friggin:

Howard took a call from Tommy in Malden who asked how long before someone has a heart attack doing that ice bucket challenge. Howard said it's supposedly for charity. He said he hasn't seen anyone get money from that. Howard said it's dangerous to do. He said it's shocking to the system. Howard said he could challenge Robin to it and she doesn't have to write a check either way. Tommy said he's glad Howard stood up to Matt Lauer over that. Howard said he just says no. Howard said someone will die from it. He said it's nonsense. He said it's dangerous to dump ice water on someone like that.

Its stupid as fuck. Then you have nerd douches who counter the "its stupid you dumb bastards you arent raising any real money to combat this" with "social media man, were spreading the word thats more than what YOURE doing!"

Fucking homos. Remember Kony? The social media movement that spawned the shedding of light on a horrible dictator and led to his eventual captu... oh wait. Nothing happened and its all forgotten because its a bunch of hipster homos that look for one hip thing to support after the next and never actually dedicate themselves to anything.

I was one of the "lucky " ones to be nominated by my niece.
We're barely making ends meet but I'm supposed to either dump ice water on myself or pony up $100 that I could use to buy groceries....

I know of 5 people that have dumped the ice water on their heads and sent the $100. Seems like it's raised some money to me. Plus there's the whole raising awareness thing. :dontknow:

Anyone who nominates me- fuck you. I'm not giving you a hundy, and I'll post a pic of myself drinking a tall, cool glass of ice water as I give you the finger.

I had no idea what all this bullshit was about until a few nights ago when I saw a news story about that it was to raise money for charity, problem is, no one is sending the money on to the charity.

I suggested we do it differently at my place. Send out an email to the firm saying for anyone who will get dumped on, we'll give $250 to the ALS-TDI foundation. Plus photos... I'm trying to call our building and see if i can do it out on Broadway for some publicity..... Regardless of the it's gone on long enough, it's raising money and awareness for the disease... Can't hate on that...

Plus none of it is going to the NSAL.....

My friend nominated her 15 year old daughter. The daughter did the challenge in her bathing suit with a water cooler and put the video on Facebook. Then someone noticed that after she dumped the water, her bathing suit turned see thru. So she quickly took it down and did it again in jeans and T-shirt. I still don't understand the point of all this. Facebook stuff like this is so stupid. Listen, if you want to raise awareness about something, then learn about it and talk about it! Spread the word about everything you've learned. Social media can be such a great place for things like that. But it seems that something stupid has to be attached to it in order for people to pay attention. I weep for the future. Haha

I haven't been super up to date with this stuff, but isn't this basically a re-do of the Cold Water Challenge from a few months ago? Maybe that was mostly in the Mid-West (instead of pouring ice water on yourself, you jump in a cold lake or river). There was a dumb teenager in WI who jumped in a lake thinking it was deep enough....let's just say it was only a foot or two deep, and covered in razor sharp zebra mussels. She totally shredded her knee up http://archive.postcrescent.com/Vid...ld-Water-Challenge-injures-Lamartine-teenager

So it's dump cold water on your head or give $100? This means there are a bunch of cheap people because all I see are a bunch of morons dumping water on their heads.

Howard's too cheap to pony up a one hundred. But if they dumped water on his head, he would have to pay Toni overtime for wig maintenance. this would be a dilemma for him.

It's as stupid as the Polar Bear Plunge that I always hear about in the winter.

A polar bear plunge is an event held during the winter where participants enter a body of water despite the low temperature. In the United States and Canada polar bear plunges are usually held to raise money for a charitable organization. However, some Canadians have been known to make the plunge in celebration of a new year.

Can't people donate without needing the constant attention?

Where are the sharks when we need them?
