just bought new Brinkman gas grill
what is ya'lls method on seasoning/breaking in a new grill????
inb4 charcoal > gas
Cook food on it.
preheat it for a good while and then make food
Weber > Brinkman
Crank it up to high and toss some steaks on it. Don't forget to invite the friends over for steak. And beer of course.
I was just about to type this exact post
Sledgehammer will break it just fine.
Smash it, throw in garbage can then buy a charcoal grill. TIA.
This. You gotta burn off anything leftover from the manufacturing process that isn't good for food. You don't want that shit burning and smoking while you have food in there. I'd get it as hot as it will go with the lid down for at least 20 minutes.
I'd probably recommend taking it back for a refund but generally agree.
Correct. You gotta burn all the shit off everything before you cook. Fire it up, let it rip for about an hour.. let it cool down wipe/scrape and you're ready to go.
you dumb fucks
i have a charcoal grill
and big smoker
have a gas grill for the weekday nights
quick burgers and chicken titties
I cook quick burgers and chicken titties on my charcoal Weber during the weekdays
I went down this path many years ago. I used the gas grill a couple of times then went back to charcoal. The best use I ever got out of the gas grill was when I discovered a bird's nest in it. That bird family enjoyed my gas grill more than I ever did.
damn Nurse you've put on some pounds
Not my $$$$$.
you bought a Brinkman and you're calling us dumb fucks?
Nothing wrong with a gas grill you snobs
