It's simple. Just contact Brad Grey(the CEO of Paramount pictures) and have a best friend who is a physician. Ok? Got that? Then you have millions of dollars in your bank account to pay for a "team" of people. One of which is hired just to call and dumb things down for you so you understand what's going on. Then go to one of the best hospitals in the world and get treatment. You won't have to worry about a pesky insurance company telling you no on any of this stuff because you just get your boss to pay cash for all this shit, you know. We all have a boss that's worth $500 million dollars and is willing to part with it to save your sorry ass. Then you get an ISDN line installed in your house and work from home for over a year. Easy Peasy. Now get on that.

All his bragging is going to look rather ridiculous when her cancer comes back.

I guess Robin was fortunate that she had his money and contacts at her disposal, but average people do not.
It made me sick to listen to it! (wait, wha??? I need a team!!!!:rolleye:)

Let me clue you in, the very wealthy have been paying for the best possible medical care for some time now. There are entire wings of hospitals all over the word built just for them. If you had unlimited resources you'd do the same thing

that being said, I have a very close family member who had a life threatening illness and was hospitalized for 18 months, they got the best possible care, no treatment was refused and he hasn't paid a bill, he had no insurance when he was admitted. Maybe it's because I live in a state that has the greatest hospitals in the world, and they are not for profit, but who knows?

Oh trust me. I know that. What my point was, was Howard said "let me give you a piece of advice" and "this is the way to do it" to anyone in Robin's position. I completely understand getting what you can if you have the resources. What I find laughable is Howard giving advice on how you get better by "hiring a team". Guess what, your average Joe's insurance company is barely going to want to allow you suppositories to stop the fucking vomiting from the chemo, let alone hire a god damned team. So him giving me advice on how to get better is re god damned diculous. Hire a team. Good Lord.

money does buy privilege- as it should. and if you want the best of anything, you will need to pay for it.

the alternate is the system they had in the USSR where doctors, professors and the like were working in fields because 'everybody needs to be the same'.
everyone cant be a doctor, so guess what? they make everyone a laborer. Imagine that.
and that's the shits that's in Obamas mind. While Obama and Reid are name-calling and refusing to negotiate with congress on a budget, veterans are not getting their benefits.
    it makes me wanna puke

    Exactly.

There is a reason why Magic Johnson is still alive, looking healthier than 95% of the other people his age. (Btw, who the hell is on magic's pr/ legal team as somehow not one of the 1000s of women he fucked has sued him).

Any normal person in Robin's situation would at least be completely bankrupt now, if not dead. Also there are not many jobs where you can do from your bed 12 hrs a week for a year and a half.

I can't stand Robin these days but I don't wish her suffering upon anyone, and I would not be surprised if she has more serious health issues in the future
