Since a few of you have asked, below is a step by step guide on how to change any pair of On Ear headphones with a 3.5 mm female input jack into bluetooth wireless headphones "on the cheap". I don't notice any difference in sound quality and like that I can easily go back to wired whenever I choose to. Which is rare.

Step 1: Buy a small cable and a Bluetooth Receiver.

Step 2: Buy some small square adhesive velcro from any hardware or crafts store.
Step 3: Charge receiver and pair to your phone
Step 4: Attach velcro to back of receiver and side of headphones

Step 5: Attach bluetooth receiver to side of headphones.
Step 6: Attach small A/V wire to input of receiver and female jack on headphones. Wrap around cup to make it look tidy.
Step 7: Turn on and receiver and enjoy. You are officially a wireless geek.

Source for BT Receiver: Ebay. Search for "Bluetooth Receiver 3.5" Make sure you get the one with the volume buttons that will also let you skip tunes. It must be A2DP compatible.
Here is one is up for auction now:

Source for male to male connecting cable: Amazon.
Search for: 6 inch 3.5mm Male Right Angle to 3.5mm Male Right Angle.

I actually think the oversize Bluetooth Beats look geekier than this setup. The internal radio makes them much more "Princess Leah-like".
    Thank you for your call.

How about just using the cable and avoid the future inconvenience of a brain tumor? :secret:

Cables suck at the gym which is really the only place I use these.

I use these ultra light weight headphones with another extension cord so I don't have that annoying volume control on it, and I just run the cord down the back of my t-shirt to my pocket that has my Nano. I've never had a problem with them.

that's you. part of the reason people buy apple products is the style. you ruin that with your kludgy addition. a real geek would open the cans and put a BT surface mount module within the housing, tapping the batteries for power. there is plenty of room in side the cans because they add metal strips to make beats feel heavier and more substantial.

you walk around in magnetic fields far stronger every day. you have a cellphone and wifi: you live in a sea of magnetic fields.

It's nice to see some nerds stuff. My only suggestion would be to make sure the Bluetooth receiver is A2DP standard as that is the higher fidelity and stereo profile for Bluetooth. Found this out the hard way when I made my FM transmitter for the car.

But if you look at any of the BT headphones they are notoriously over-sized to house the battery and radio. If Apple/Beats could have made them smaller, don't you think they would have by now? They look horrible IMO. Plus these are reversible but to each his own.
