With Howard sinking to reality television, can we now say that he's officially b-list? There hasn't been an a-lister as part of a reality show since the concept of reality tv was invented.

The view that reality stars are below regular stars may have been apt a decade ago, but not anymore.

Forbes recently released a list of the Top 100 Most Powerful celebrities.

And No. 1 is a reality TV judge.

    So is No. 6.

    http://www.forbes.com/celebrities/#p_8_s_a0_All categories_

I don't think you can be considered a "most powerful celebrity" and not be an A-lister.

So I would consider anybody on that list an A-lister, even Ryan Seacrest and Kim Kardashian.

Both of them have more drawing power than supposed A-listers like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

You should also consider that reality TV is a major stepping stone for today's stars.

An American Idol contestant has won an Oscar.

Emma Stone, the A-list star of the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man, is a former VH1 reality star.

Shia LeBeouf, the A-list star of Indiana Jones and The Transformers, rose to fame on an HBO reality show.

Even Lady Gaga, the A-lister to end all A-listers, has served as a reality TV judge. Just last year, in fact.

And the guy who is expected to win the Tony next month for best Broadway performance by an actor, James Corden, was a star of the British version of Big Brother just 4 years ago.

So I would say Howard is still an A-lister by virtue of his salary, by virtue of his radio gig (which from our perspective sucks, but from everybody else's perspective is considered king of the crop).

AGT is beneath the talents of the radio entertainer I once knew. He knows it, we know it.

Howard has more money than most A Listers, but the career of a dead fish................a horrible radio show and a worse "talent" show.

    :tumble:

His output would be on a "most embarrassing moments" reel of an actual A Lister.

And he couldn't get anything off the ground now. He can only join an already established show.........................and lower their ratings. That's anti-A list.
