"Howard said he really doesn't give a fuck. He said he's so fucking famous and successful. He said he joined AGT as a goof kind of. He said he thought it would be funny to see him on that show. Howard said the network ended up liking it and he stayed on for a couple more seasons. The caller told him not to do it next season. Howard said they are really nice to him over there. He said that he was reading Hollywood Reporter and he saw a full page ad in the magazine and they were congratulating him for being named one of the most powerful people in Hollywood. Howard said they took out a full page ad to do that. Howard said no one does that for anyone." http://www.marksfriggin.com/news.htm#mon Sounds like he's distancing himself from AGT. Howard may finally be realizing that he hitched his star to a 3rd rate talent show that is going nowhere.
"Howard said. He said. Howard said. Howard said. He said. He said." Are we sure John Hein isn't writing marksfriggin? Nauseating. Anyhoo, Wiggy also whined during that tantrum that "he's the biggest star on that show, no offense to any of the other judges". Hate to break it to the delusional gork, but in that pool of washed up and thrown over B-listers, Heidi Klum is technically the biggest name, then Mel B, then its a toss-up for last place between Howie Mandel and Wiggy. Most of the mouthbreathers watching AGT had no idea who he was before he took the Jerry Springer chair, but they damn well knew Heidi Klum and they were certainly more likely to know Mel B than him. Its like he's still living in the fantasyland that he's on FM radio and "everyone" has heard of him, when he's on a glorified cable access broadcast.
That's the point. Up until now, Howard has done nothing but crow about AGT. He's pissed off what few listeners he has left by constantly promoting that pile of donkey dung on his radio show. Now, he's begun to describe his participation as "a goof". Howard has a long history of denigrating projects that failed to hire him or, were headed for the toilet after he signed on.
He should be a ashamed of his choice to go on this low rent pile of garbage. Oh, and the mans appearance is not HD TV friendly. Howard is truly a great businessman, but the entertainer portion of his career is over.
He changes the reason he joined at the drop of a hat. He's said "I thought it would be interesting," and my personal favorite, "I only joined AGT so I could talk about it on my show!!!"
He also said, after the boring first season, that he was taking judging seriously and couldn't understand why people thought he would be controversial and outrageous. Poor NBC, I think they thought they were buying unpredictable Howard, not 'America's Judge'.
we all know the only fucking single thing that matters at all to wiggy the past decade is marbles and the accumulation of said marble. thats it. everything else is a distant second. AGT- Marbles, SIRI- Marbles, Staff- Marbles.....
Please, Buchwald is the businessman. Without him, Howard would be appearing in 'Ryder P.I. Part 6' this summer.
It is a better BS excuse than his original reason he gave for doing the show. He used to say that he did it to shock everyone. Howard claimed that he has done so many shocking things in his career that the only thing left to shock people was to go on a third rate TV talent show and play it completely straight. Well, when Howard does anything completely straight, it is shocking. But going on a mediocre version of the Gong Show is not all that shocking. Actually, it is pathetic. Celebrities with nothing going on with their careers become judges on TV talent shows like AGT.
I am beginning to think Buckwald is the true genius behind the Stern Show. No matter how pathetic the show or Stern himself gets, Buckwald gets the media to spin everything into a success. He somehow has turned Howard mailing the show in into all the media gushing about how great of an interviewer Howard is. That is pure magic.
he's all about the money now. is he trying to say he's on AGT for a goof? he didn't spout this crap last year and the year before.....when he'd crow about the great talent andbeing america's judge.
