From July the 30th to September the 7th, Howard will have done just 4 shows, 4 shows in 5 weeks.

That's four more shows than most. He should be commended for checking in while most shows go on hiatus from May to September.

I just wish someone could come out of nowhere and entertain us the way wiggy used to. Howard has a shitty work ethic and has always done as little as possible for as much he can get. IMO

How does Sirius still pay all those high salaries, and also all the other employees? Didn't Stern once say there were like 70 employees that are involved with the show?

Only if you compare him to Oprah. Remember how Stern used to say how silly it was for Oprah to make all that money and never show up?

People pay for Showtime and haven't seen an episode of Homeland all year.

Here's where you get called out on your shit clone.

Radio shows don't take hiatuses. I've got a hiatal hernia from years of waiting for this shit show to come back in september.

If you are comparing the HSS to a regular TV show, I think you are mistaken. Talk shows on TV don't take haituses either btw....

Sounds like you weren't around for the 30 year period when he barely took one day off.

Too bad, that was some great radio. Sucks that you missed it.

    another stupid comparison.

These are scripted shows that are acted with special effects, storylines etc. The HSS is a 3 hour shill for Hmus Beffoats and Amuricas got whatever the fuck they got.

There was a renegotiation between Sirius/XM and The Howard Stern show. The budget for the show was cut which in turn caused the On Demand team and most of the shows on Howard 101 to get the axe. Howig isn't taking any pay cuts so he's basically making almost as much as he did on his initial contract but working only half as much. That boys got quite a nice racket going on over there! :golfclap:

I was there, but JACKIE was doing it, not Howie, Howie is a king of the delegators...nobody else! Although some praise may be due for his early work, I am a shedder and refuse to praise that asshole:c

    HA

    That old gag...

But seriously, he's contracted for less, his zest for the gig is nearly 3 years in the rear-view and he's 60. It's expected.

What else should be expected since subscriptions haven't changed OR have been nickel-dime'd upward is more than 30 hours of recycled best-of from 23,000 hours of history. But then (to keep w/a theme) Howard/Buchwald probably expect another payday to make that content available.
