    From MarksFriggin'

The caller asked Howard if he thinks he'd get paid if he wasn't in the studio working like Robin isn't there. He asked how Howard feels not getting paid by Sirius. Howard said he feels betrayed. Howard told the guy he's not going to let him get worked up like the guy did yesterday. Howard said he doesn't feel good about being betrayed. Howard asked what that has to do with Robin though. Howard said they're both getting paid their salary. Howard said he's not sure what the guy was going for. He said he should be original and not be like the guy yesterday. He went to break after that.

This would have been a perfect opportunity for them to address the Robin situation, but I forgot that honesty is out the window.

The man that told his fans to support a monopolistic merger because it would be good for them and that he had nothing to gain from it while knowing all along that he'd get a $25 million bonus feels betrayed?

If you or I were to get a 25 million bonus we would say thank you. Howard sued the company.

Dan is still dominating Wiggy's thoughts. Pelican probably had to take a couple Ambien to knock himself out last night. Needless to say, we won't see many REAL phone calls for the next while. I bet Will got a major lecture for letting Dan through.

This Robin thing is very strange. Unfortunately, Robin is having a rough go of it all. Her voice is back to sounding weak and she is talking less frequently.

I'm no expert by any stretch, so some of you know a lot more about the stuff, but it seems to me that Robin is in pretty bad shape.

I feel bad for Howard's shrink. That guy is gonna need a shrink himself after dealing with howard yesterday afternoon for an hour.

can you imagine what that guy had to listen to for 50 minutes?

A goddamn billionaire throwing a hissy fit cuz he "got got" by one of his former fans on the air?

    Classic! :cheer:

Howard pushing the merger may have cost him something more valuable to him than money. The ability to control his employer by threatening to go elsewhere. Where would he go today? Regular radio isn't what it used to be, the audience has shifted, and I don't think his ego could take both the pay cut and the lower ratings than in the past. It would look like failure even if it wasn't.

I'm sure Howard's shrink is doing just fine. This will mean more visits and knowing Stern, asks for cash up front.
