Huh?!? Crazy Horse is one of the best backing band of all time. They were a great band compared to anyone.

I know this was all part of Howard's lazy way to get his interviewee to say something bad about their former band mate, but it just goes to show how little Howard knows about music.

Howard: Did you get upset that Neil Young kept leaving the band?
    Graham Nash: No
Howard: It drove me crazy because Crazy Horse was not a great band compare to Crosby, Stills, and Nash
Nash: Neil just focused on his solo career
Howard: Did it piss you off when Neil left the band?
    Nash: No

Howard thinks Leslie West is a musical giant, cut the old geezer some slack.

I don't know what that means because I'm not 60.

What an irrelevancy to have in-studio for over an hour.

Fixed that, remember Howard doesn't like performers that change their real names to appear less Jewey.

Danny Whitten and Neil Young in down by the river trading the leads back and forth and there chemistry is just magic. A real talented group, not that csny is any less.

Howards just trying to trick him into giving him dirt. I hate when he digs at people relentlessly when in reality its a none story and there is no dirt. He can't believe some people can just get along in a band?

All musicians should band together and refuse to do Howard's show. Baba O' Riley (a song from his generation) he couldn't differentiate Roger Daltrey's voice from Pete Townshend's and has made bizarre musical choices, he'd rather be listening to Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke but that wouldn't look good with his rock and roll image.

"Robin, I love Neil Young, but I can't stand that song Down by the River. It is a 8 minutes song and there is only about two minutes of singing. Who wants to listen to music with no singing?"

And yes, Howard is just trying to make the interview "controversial" and "newsworthy". He wants to get Nash to say he was pissed off when Neil Young left the band so Team Buckwald can send a press release everywhere to get the media to pick it up. This is what is wrong with Howard's interviews these days, not only are they not natural, but he has a bunch of canned questions that are only to elicit controversial responses which he rarely gets.

and the Wig thinking he could just pick up the guitar and sound like Neil. What a joke. Fred had to be biting his tongue thinking "You fuck wad... you will never learn to play the guitar."

I've been playing for 30 years. I know what it takes and the wig ain't got it.

I loved when Steven Stills was in studio....he finally asked Howard, "what the fuck is this, a therapy session??".

It goes along with last weeks Metallica interview. "How do you write a song? I want to write a song and have a number one hit". As if songwriting is a trick someone can teach anyone in five minutes.
