" ...a horrible situation." Infant Cancer, famine, a school bus accident, those are horrible situations. A Near Billionaire not getting more is inconsequential...
Howard says a lot of things... The only difference between yesterday, today and tomorrow is the fewer and fewer number of people listening to his rambling.
Howard shouldn't be upset, he got exactly what he said he wanted. The wording of the contract was so clear the judge was able to make a decision herself and no trial was needed.
"a beautiful daaayyyyy, a beautiful day, a beautiful daaayyyy, la de da..."
It would seem that he would be extremely embarrased by his lawyers not recognizing the case was not even trial worthy. For Howard to appeal the black n white decision,,,has to be suicide for his concern about public opinion....
I wanna picke my ass,,, eat bbq..... NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! In my head all day now!
He can appeal all he wants, he is not even gonna get a trial. Not sure who his lawyers were when he signed his contract, but if he really did have an agreement to count XM subscribers how fucking hard would it be to clearly have this stated in the contract? And if it wasn't clearly stated in the contract why the fuck did he sign it? He has some dumbass lawyers.
More horrible than the day his middle-aged, feeble-minded wife tattooed "6iahca" on her arm?
BTW...This is the funniest video yet!....Beth blew Dominic
I find it interesting that Howard is apparently not smart enough to even spin this some way to not come off as a greedy, money grubbing bastard. I mean he could have made up something about big plans for a charity or some type of altruistic endeavor he was going to use the money for and even if it wasn't completely true we wouldn't know the difference.
How could he not understand how shrill and hollow he is presenting himself to his fans? I'd love to ask him...why the fuck do you really need another 300 million dollars? The 25 million he did receive for the merger would set most people up for life. I know we love to play arm chair psychiatrists, but this guy has some real mental problems.
Wigsy's best line was that the $25M he got for the merger was because he was afraid XM would fuck him over.
His lawsuit rant over the past couple of days was more entertaining, due to its complete lack of coherence, than anything he's said in 20 years.
Thats their whole problem, and it has infected all of them. They think the fact that THEY did something its hilarious, everyone is amazing or "the great _____."
when he runs through that $400M (after taxes) with expensive vacations and living life to the maximum, he's going to need that extra $300M
I sometimes think that Howard has reached some weird rationalization in his thought process where he equates ALL of his fans with a wack packer like mentality, when in reality the majority of us can think for ourselves and will call bullshit on the cringe-worthy things he says and does.
The "this person is too rich to sue" argument has always fascinated me...
My guess is that several of us on this board alone are fairly comfortable in life...
I would go so far to say that a handful might not have to work anymore in order to have a good lifestyle.
That being said if one of those "comfortable" guys had an agreement with someone that they sincerely thought wronged them in some way, they'd more than likely sue.
For most people (even those with less money), it's oftentimes not about the money.
Now even though I don't think Stern has a case, he feels strongly that he does.
The fact that Stern's loaded is imaterial...
You're spot on about that....it has been fun listening to him whine (I actually thought maybe this time he would have enough common sense not to go there, but he did) and yes, the $25 million payout that was HIS idea to add to the contract at the last minute because he was scared that if XM came out as the victor in the merger, he could get fired was bizarre and laughable. It was clearly a nice bonus for the merger and I doubt Howard had it added at the last minute!
