This had to have been organized by Stern and Buchwald, right? When he mentioned it today, Howard didn't sound resentful at all about having to give a 20-minute speech to a room full of suits on a topic he knows nothing about. (He claims to listen to no radio shows but his own -- for which he does no preparation, and works just 112 days a year; he just discovered iTunes nine months ago; he has never heard a podcast; he programs his own two Sirius channels with 95% reruns; he owned no music until Gary loaded him up with a library of free and stolen mp3s last year; and before his last contract was up, he proclaimed that SIM cards were the future of broadcasting.) Is this just more foreplay in Stern and Buchwald's attempt to seduce Sirius into another contract? Or did Sirius call this meeting to help them decide if Stern will be "around" in 2016?
