unless it's in a historical setting.
Is that because he's such a big Public Enemy fan?
he uses it roundabout every chance he gets, every time he's impersonating someone black he breaks into stepin fetchit.
him trying to deny he's racist as fuck is just further evidence of his detachment from reality. he really thinks he's less of a racist than Imus because he's being "subtle" or does it behind peoples' backs.
I love how he's trying to reinvent himself to further his television career... Like people know Howard for anything but toilet humor...
He has evolved.
His trying very hard to be liked, like those bogus phone calls claiming how good are his interviews.
He has other people say it for him.
Damn - I was laughing within a minute of that. What a different Stern. Wasn't there a song to that name?
His future in-laws will be so happy.
Other words/phrases Howard doesn't use
"living wages for his staff"
"I don't use the word Reggie"
-- the man that literally made a billion dollars off of the word Reggie.
He asskissed and they still called him a racist.
Artie had the funniest line one day when Howard said he didn't use the N word ever. He quickly snapped back, "What? you never lost a bet on a basketball game before?" Oh man
When is the last time he did his signature Amos 'n' Andy voice? Years?
Anytime Daniel Carver was on the show, Howard would never laugh harder. Daniel had Stern pegged from day one. Daniel always used to say that he only said what Howard was thinking.
I remember that. I miss the baby gorilla. The funny went with him
...and who could forget the caller, niggerwhat.
I was listening to some early 90s shows the other day and the amount of racial anger was astounding. And funny. And honest...remember when that word used to apply to the HSS?
If Howard's early years really happened the way he says... No way he didn't use the word Reggie, at least in his mind. But then again, he might not have 'cause his mommy told him not to.
