    But remember, if they love to hate him that still spells success for him. That's the only way I see it working: if he's the new Simon Cowell.

    I personally hope he goes down in flames and takes AGT with him, but we'll see...

    He is not going for the love to hate look. He is banking on trading his billion dollar "Hollywod Intolerant" personality to a "Hollywood Beloved Personality." He wants it both ways,,, but he is only going to get that with Ralph.

    Matters of weight might fuck it up for him. He's eliminated all traces of racism & homophobia from his shtick but, his loathing of excess flesh will always remain. Throughout the entire season, Howard will pompousy 'educate' lardy contestants about the nature of showbiz & then commanded them to shift some lb's -- & in true Howard style, he'll spin it out & win over the studio audience. But out there in televisionland, there'll be plenty of fat broads -- possibly AGT fans, who'll switch channel. What kind of masochist wants constant reminders of their lacking will power & unattractiveness?
    Wouldn't it be poetic justice if, the mother of a deceased anorexic, sued Howard...& won :thumbup2:

    I'm wondering how many of Howard's comments that he thinks are so witty will get edited out because AGT thinks they're too offensive. He says stuff every day on his show (seemingly without realizing it) that would cause big trouble if anyone besides his small audience heard it. It's not the obscene stuff, it's the snide little comments about minorities, ethnic groups, the handicapped, and various public figures he's jealous of but are beloved by the rest of the world.
