[h=1]Others Fade, but Judge Judy Is Forever: At 71, She Still Presides
[/h]“Judge Judy†has ratings that are climbing, a rarity for DVR-embattled television programming during daytime, prime time or any other time. For the first two weeks of May, “Judge Judy†had a 7 percent increase in viewers compared to the same period last year, according to Nielsen. Among women 25 to 54, the bull’s-eye demographic for daytime television, ratings rose 5 percent.

"Judge Sheindlin, who tapes only 52 days a year, for which CBS pays her an estimated $47 million, has her own theories about her program’s continued popularity."

All she needs to do now is have someone ghost-write a book for her and star in a Shitty low-budget movie about juris mprudence to become the Queen of all Media!

I hate all TV judge shows, they seem like something for old people to watch since Matlock isn't on anymore.

yeah poor howard has to go home to his mere $300mil-$1bil stash and reconcile the fact he's a closeted homosexual in a business-partnership with a demented famewhorse and a small cadre of crazy loser fans who follow him around (whereas his movie premieres used to shut down entire blocks of manhattan) on a sinking ship of a 4th rate gong show ripoff all the while he basically continues his radio show as a mere vanity project because once the radio show goes he's got absolutely nothing aside from the occasional interview/story every 5-10 years "hey, whatever happened to howard stern? he was really good at radio in the 90s"

you'd almost feel bad for the guy if he didn't have that 300mil-1bil stash to come home to. idk what his wages are, but he's clearly in the 9 figures range on salary alone, and if the dude couldn't use his tribal connections to get into some good investments and make $$$ off of his $$$ well then, oi vey indeed.

but yeah man, say what you want about artie and the love of his life (heroin) but at least artie didn't have to go and buy magazine covers with a picture of a bag of heroin cuddling with a cat on the cover just to make sure his true love was happy.

I think the Matlock crowd died a good two decades ago, which I'm assuming puts you in the 40-55 year old range. The cool octogenarians Facebook, this is why anyone under 30 abandoned the service.

Hell, my family is scattered all over the USA, and there's several of them that I prefer to talk to on Facebook instead of the phone. I get to choose when the conversation ends. :hhh:

I wonder is the judge has a twenty year younger, gold digging husband. Who doesn't want to be famous.

It's interesting that things went that way....Facebook really has changed in the last few years, with most people being older. Not that I care...I don't have kids, nor do my sisters, so it isn't like I'd have any young friends on Facebook anyway.

I also think that Facebook has a higher level of literacy (although not everyone....). None of this 140 character, #bullshit. Twitter suits today's zero-attention span youth perfectly. No need to write complete sentences, just use text-write. Facebook users tend to actually write out their thoughts more.
