Wow...couldn't believe that Robin has to wait until AFTER the show on WEds. to attend her Sister-in-laws funeral???
Howard isn't giving her the day off??
    amazing...but not suprised...
He wouldn't (or couldn't) do the show without her
AND she would NEVER let LisaG or anyone fill in for just ONE DAY!
I know when my Mom & Sister was ill....and passed...I took a 30day Family leave...
    longer for my Mom...
most companies give u DAYS off for immediate family!

    Not Howard...
    Without Robin....he's lost..
I would be OK with a re-run on Weds...;) maybe from year 1, 2 or 3 on Sirius..
anything is better than the last 9months....
every day is the same.....alternataing PLUGS for AGT....WRAP UP SHOW....and HowardTV....
today after 6YEARS he played clips from the SUPER FAN ROUNDTABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

he must have got my memo....:rolleye: STOP torturing us with the WRAP UP SHOW !!

    anyway....
wishing Robin a peaceful day tomorrow...

    thank you
    peace & Love

ps...I'm not posting as much so I hope all of u (fans) and STERN SHOW STAFF who attack me (and Email me) are happy! ;)

Howard doesn't attend funerals so I guess he feels that if he doesn't take time off for funerals then why should Robin?

Robin should go. What is he going to do, fire her? If he did, she might be able to get a sympathy job. It would be her best chance of employment post-HSS.

Who's gonna hire a 60 year old black lady?
She can't work anywhere she has to stand all day because her feets are too small to support that big ass & those enormous breasts.

I think Robin has enough money to retire at this point. Besides if she were to be fired now, it's likely they would still have to buy out her contract (provided she didn't do something that violated her contract).

Robin's sister-in-law isn't famous. If she was then Howard would not only let her take the day off, but he would attend the funeral with Beth.

I thought she didn't really speak to this in-law? Maybe she doesn't really care about going. :c

I only took 3 days after my father died. 30+ days seems A BIT excessive, but who am I to judge?

I'm certain that if Robin really wanted the day off she could take it. But it's fun to use it as an excuse to rag on Howard.

Why do you care what a few detractors say? They're bitching about the font. Maybe if you posted in a normal color, much of the strife you're experiencing would go away. :dontknow:

As for Robin not getting the day off, she shouldn't have asked. She should have just said she had a family member die and wouldn't be in. End of story. It's not like she would be fired. Artie used to take off without so much as a word.

I don't remember the specific date or the exact details, but a few years ago during the 1st SIRIUS contract, Robin was asked by someone (Howard?) if the show stopped right now, could she stop working and live off the money she had, and she said "No". Bear in mind, she burns through money pretty fast with her hobbies and traveling. I think Fred and Gary were asked, too, and said the same thing, and I remember a thread on SFN about it, people were pissed off that Fred and Gary couldn't retire comfortably like Howard could since they were there from the beginning and were a major part of Howard' success. Jackie: "YOU HAVE ALLLLL THE MARBLES."

Maybe a close friend or relative of Robin should fake an ankle injury. Funny that Beth has never been hurt since....
