"Gary said he took Steve to Nobu and everyone there was in costume. Gary said Steve thought the place was exclusive but they let in all of those people with costumes. He said Batman was there eating at Nobu. "

HOWARD: Part of the appeal of Nobu is You can't get in"

Oh you can get in, but its not the "real" nobu,.

They expand the one in NYC< and put the riff raff in one room, and the celebutards willing to pay $125 for a roll of sushi in another... As for the other cities, well, whats the point?

Its like going to a restaurant owned by a celebrity chef but he is never there.... ok, someone bought the name.. you got in.. good for you.

The FLAGSHIP NYC Restaurant (not Next Door or other) is the one I linked.

    As for the MENU Prices
    Check It http://www.noburestaurants.com/new-york/menus/dinner/sushi-sashimi-2/

Howard is insecure and saying look at me mommy I can get into Nobu makes him feel better. He is such a nerd.

The one in San Diego that Gary mentioned is rarely full. It's in a tourist area so doesn't get a lot of local traffic and except for the Japanese most of the tourists aren't paying those prices for fancied up fish.

i can't imagine wiggy sitting among the commoners.

i'm sure celebs go in a special room.

over the years think of all the celebs he's said he's been seated near there - heath ledger, etc. they sit all the celebs in a private room.

C'mon, of course you can't get in Nobu. Howard and Beth yokO would never go to a restaurant where commoners could get into. Imagine the horror they would have to endure if they had to hobnob with the average person instead of the C list celebrities they hang with.

he's probably talking about a chef's table or some shit. anyway, who cares. a place like nobu is for shallow tards anyway who arent there for the food. you can go to a dive sushi joint and get the same quality food for half the price. fresh fish is fresh fish. durrr.

We were in Manhattan last month.
Had lunch at a normal decent place near(few blocks) Rockefeller Center.
Prices were pretty much on par with other similar establishments in NY.

Lot's of Competition decent volume forces them to keep prices down.

going to Nobu like Howard does, is for being seen not for being fed. Most of us are not as shallow as Howard.

I was listening to an old clip of Howard and Robin goofing on Kane Hodder (the guy who played Jason in Friday the 13th 7, 8 and 9) because he was interviewed at some Horror con. They were both goofing on him and calling him a loser and talking about how nobody in the world knows who is is (which is insanely untrue...the guy makes a killing at conventions.) Anyway, Howard's harshest insult was, "He's not famous *laughs* he couln't get into Nobu!"

This was back when Howard pronounced it, "No-BOO"

It made me wonder how I didn't see Howard for the colossal douche he was back then. I guess the show was so funny back then that I overlooked it.

those prices are good actually, unless a "piece" there is > 0.25oz of fish and I can't see Nobu going to nouveau portions. The bad publicity would hurt them (a little bit).

Every sushi place I've ever been to had pretty standardized pieces. I have a feeling that their bar is a printing press for money.

Howard is a desperately lonely man. He threw away 90% of his audience by moving to Sirius and then at least another half of his Sirius audience told him to go fuck himself.
