At this point, it appears that about 7% of the Stern show has been real.
Robin, I gave the ideas to Electric Eel and then they gave them back to me so I could help out their business. What's wrong with this guys phone?
This guy would have been a great guest for dawgshed. It appears he's open to discussing the topic.
I wish Fred would write a tell-all book after the show is over,i don't get the impression that they are close friends but rather work colleagues who work well as a team on-air but as soon as the show is over they all go their separate ways,Wiggy probably only emails Gary and Robin from time to time but it's work related talk as opposed to friendly chit chat.
I think you're 100% correct, however, Howard gave Fred the ability to have a stable entertainment career that is more than just having a nice income. Because of Howard, Fred has fuck you money. ENTERTAINMENT business fuck you money. It's some of the hardest money to get. Fred has managed to turn it into small acting rolls here and there (someone over at Law & Order: SVU likes the show because they also had that imbecile, no-talent Sal) as well.
Fred and Howard don't get along like we all think and want them to, but I think without a doubt Fred is totally loyal to Howard and unless Howard REALLY betrayed Fred, Fred is keeping his mouth shut. Those secrets will go to his grave with him.
So, Niggawhat wasn't real? This is very distressing news.
If the biggest building in your area is a woodshed you're in Mancow country!
O.M.G. I tryed Mancow the other morning for something different. 30 seconds later I was off to another channel. ( just horrible ) everybody shouting shitty music .
He makes Opie look talented
Theater of the mind, Robin.
The Electric Eel stuff was just stupid. Howard should've just broke Re-re-retard's balls for 45 minutes instead of resorting to that over the top fake bullshit.
Electric Eel was awful because callers would even say "This is fake, right?" and Howard would say "no!". Even Robin and Artie would roll their eyes at it.
That was the previous low point of the show, before "giftscriptions".
How much he make last year 97 million. Top 10 earners, I don't get it my self. 20 years ago no problem.
Anthony Zipper and his dead, stuffed daughter, Calistra, was the only Electric Eel guest that was any good. But the second they put him on the E! Show, you could tell she was fake.
What were the Electric Eel bits during the Artie era?
Can't recall off hand but they still used the service right into the early Sirius years.
Yeah, I thought the Electric Eel stuff was in the 90s with Jackie, not Artie.
Here's how that conversation went:
Howard: hey Fred , you want to keep getting paid 7 figures to do late sound effect drops and fake laugh at my stupid jokes? Sign this Non-disclosure agreement please.
Fred: Ok, but can we keep playing fixed win Fred's money games?
Whenever I've heard any of these they're always so obviously fake. Frosty the finagler? Give me a fucking break.
Howard is not the actor he thinks he is either.
