    The most books signed by one author in a single session is 1,951 by the ex-World Champion in chess Anatoli Karpov (Russia) who signed "El Camino de una Voluntad" by David Llada and Anatoli Karpov on 21 October 2006 during the Third Mexico City Chess Festival in Mexico.



    too bad Howard didn't call Guinness. :c

    I wonder if Guinness has a record for most lies told? Howard would definitely be a contender.

    I actually went to his book signing in the mid 90s at Borders in West LA. I just remember being really stoned, it was one of the first times I smoked out. I also remember thinking he had a huge ass nose. Don't remember much more.

    Did he really claim that? At 3 seconds per signature, that would take nearly 17 hours without a single pause in the action.

    I was there too and at the end it seemed like Stern was swapping out signed books because the line started to move real fast. I can see him signing a few thousand but 20,000....no way.

    According to me calculations on an average city block of 660 feet, with people every 2 feet the line would be 60 blocks long. It just didn't happen.

    HELLOO00ooo...howards a liarrr...get it? now why did he marry a wannabe model instead of a t'pal, gwen stefani or at least an equal?..why did he marry a spoiled entitled wanna be 12year old for a wife?
    answer:: howster must have CONTROL...he married an ignorant catalog model to have a sex slave and adoring fan..the good part is she doesn't know she's being used she thinks shes digging howard's gold..haha what a joke

    Yep. Beth didn't change him. This is who he is. Some of us are just now getting it. And I will add that he's probably not even the worst liar or the biggest asshole. I still haven't heard any rumors that make him sound worse than a narcissistic shallow liar. In his business, that's not saying much. His exploitation of the mentally ill is pretty bad but still, that's everybody in his business.

    A friend of mine was actually at that book signing. I asked him how many people were there and he said it was a long time ago but it seemed like a few thousand. But they were there mostly to see Howard and not to get a book signed. He said that Howard did stay later than he was supposed to but the total number of books he did sign was probably no more than a few hundred at most. Plus he said that no book store would even stock 20,000 copies of any book.

    Howard lies. We should all know this by now.

    According to Amazon, the shipping weight is 1.4 pounds.
    Meaning the Book weighs approximately 1+pound

    20,000 Books X 1+Pound = 26,000+pounds with packaging and pallets
    Dimensions of Book 9.3" x 6.2" x 1.4"

    Back then
    Book companies Usually loaded each Pallet at about 1200pounds or less
    That would translate into approximately 1000 books per pallet(MAXIMUM)
    Which would mean 20 Pallets of Books or almost a full Semi Trailer

    This translates into area 540+ square feet of books stacked almost 5 feet high(with the pallet)
    That is a room of 23'x23' with books piled 5' tall
