Howard said he fell into the trap and didnt read the article and was lied to??? that Artie didnt say anything wrong! I know Artie didnt say anything that was all that bad, but it definitely wasnt complimentary on Howards behalf! Am I off on this?? It means that he doesn't have total control over the situation. Welcome to social media Howie.

Howard does not really want to address the things Artie said because he knows its all true. Howard wants to continue his new PC ways but at the same time I believe somewhere deep down he does feels like a sellout and knows he sold out.

The question is; is Howard now just so old that he's "lost it" or is this who he always was and now he finally has the cool kids recognition and will do anything to keep it even turning his back on all of his fans and turning his back on all the people that worked for him that he has since fired.

...howard has evolved into a big joke. he really fucked up his image when he let his girlfiend take the edge off his show and fell for the engagement chicken and married it, shes got one more dish to serve but shes still getting recipe consultations.

Howard's trying to pretend Artie never said anything negative about him and the media made it all up to embarrass him. Just another failed attempt to make himself seem like the victim and deflect attention away from the fact that he's a sell-out and a liar who doesn't care about other people.

He "feel into the trap" of responding to the Radar Online article, without really knowing what Artie said, so he reacted badly, and regretted it

Only trap Howard ever fell into was cock and balls first into Ralph's sausage trap.

He's going into ultra spin mode ...

He wants the public to think that the Radar Online article completely fabricated all those quotes and that Artie never had an issue with his behavior or any criticisms of the show. Trying to conceal how he just dropped Artie cold turkey. His first vague quotes addressing Artie even subtly implied that they still see each other on occasion. He wanted to sweep this under the rug as soon as it happened but it ain't happening

Artie is a drug addict with daddy issues, Howard did what he could to help but got nothing but lies in return, he's done with Artie, rightfully so.

What was that "trap"? Was it like the "ratings trap" Artie fell into on Sirus during his later drug years? The ratings Howard was getting while thinking it was all just because Artie ate "one too may cupcakes"?

Howard lives in a bubble of his own delusions. Everything in Howard's life, from G.T.D. to B.O.O.E.Y., goes towards the servicing/maintenance/upkeep/defense/protection of that bubble.

Nothing else matters except for that bubble. He's forsaken his first marriage and his children for it. Inside the bubble, all is clean and pure. Perfect. Howard can be whoever he cat fancies himself to be, he can imagine his current marriage as a perfect love, he's America's ____________, etc.

The oxygen in that bubble is public approval. Celebrity-approval/"friendships" is like triple/turbo-oxygen.

The flipside, and there is always a flipside, is that nothing can ever be his fault. self-responsibility would be like anti-air; a vacuum. And that simply cannot exist inside a perfect world. Self-blame is an impossibility inside the bubble.

Therefore, he didn't shoot himself in the foot; he "fell into a trap". A trap other people laid for him. Such is the depth of his delusions; the thickness of his bubble, as it were.

The shadow of the bubble is paranoia. The more pristine the bubble, the more intense the feelings of paranoia and persecution.

and yes, I'm aware of how perfect the Travolta-gay analogy is.
