There is a big demand online for Joan Rivers, Russell Brand and Maria Menounos interviews apparently.

I guess someone forgot to tell him that it's not an actual radio station but just a bunch of mp3s playing like Pandora.

Howard needs other bidders to prank Sirius into another 5 year deal.
Expect anonymous stories about Stern being offered 800 bazillion dollar to be Apple exclusive.....they are coming....:jj:

He's grasping at straws because he fucked Sirius so bad they won't want him to stay even for free.

The new Google all access is cool - uploaded all of my music to the site + plays radio stations based on my music and other similar artists. Apple is a bit late to the party.

Uploading? Fuck that. I got iTunes Match. Upgraded all my shitty 128kbps songs to high quality AAC and I didn't have to waste time uploading.

We should all listen to Howard- remember when he told us that for $12.98 a month we could get two (soon to be three) channels of Stern universe, plus all the music and sports we could want, all commercial free????

Huh? That's exactly what a modern radio station is. Vast majority of radio stations are completely automated.

http://www.rcsworks.com/en/products/default.aspx (makes of that Prophet crap that Howard uses)

They make all this scheduling software that in real time learns what's popular and plays it and then optimizes how often should songs be played. And does it across the whole continent (if you have a ton of radio stations spread out).

I think that Howard is gonna move into app business after he's done with Sirius. He'll cut a ton of his staff and do a show few times a week and schedule the rest like his tapes team has been doing on his days off. He'll then sell subscriptions though Apple or whoever. I think he'll make a lot of money doing that simply because he's still got a ton of brainless fans.
