There are no more bits on the show. The news is rushed with Robin simply reading headlines and a few sentances with the lead paragraph, followed by a Howard live-read (unless the story is about gays or abortion).

Howard no longer mocks celebrities, and guests are fewer and far between.

Most importantly Howard no longer takes real callers "which was also a HUGE source for material". Just listen to Nick and Artie, O&A, old school Stern, ect to remember how much content, topics, and humor a good caller can add to the show.

Therefore Stern basically only comments on tv clips and news stories these days, and without JD there would be no clips.

Id go as far as to say JD is the third most important person on the show, yet he lives in poverty and is mocked for it. but Jay Leno is an asshole, I get it

True. I live in upstate NY and $65 k a year in NYC is the equivalent of no more than $42 k up here.

 

$65k/yr in NYC, you live in a slum, with a shared bathroom and a 900 sq foot apt. OR you commute from Long Island, with a $250K house..3 bedroom, 1800 sq feet, with a commute time of 1 hr.
