Howard Stern paid $914,433 in property taxes on his mansion in Palm Beach, Fla., last year — putting his place at No. 8 among the highest-taxed estates on the wealthy island.

The King of All Media, who earns $95 million a year, according to Forbes, came in behind Ken Griffin, the recently divorced hedge fund billionaire.

He is not a resident and therefore is not eligible for the Homestead Tax Exemption (worth $1,000), but that qualifies the homeowner for the Save Our Homes protections that limit tax increases to 3% a year.

Howie's R/E tax bill may be $1M next year.
