He won't be back in a year b/c the ratings haven't gone up...no one wants to look at or hear an ode Jew with the adams apple the size of a grapefruit judge. He is an over the hill faggola with an attention seeking fembot for a wife, with no photoshop skills.

So Howard claims someone from NBC scolded him, I'll believe it when someone at NBC acknowledges it.

unbelievable liitle man looking for relevancy
rips Jay Leno again. Howard Stern is escalating his war of words with Jay Leno, and he's drawing NBC into the feud. Stern revealed on his Sirius XM radio show last week that he was reprimanded by an NBC executive for ripping on Jay Leno in the wake of "Tonight Show" staff cuts. And Stern insisted he'd rather lose his job on "America's Got Talent" than stop making fun of Leno.
"Yeah, I did hear from them actually. I got sort of a threatening kind of comment from one of the executives. I said ... 'Do not tell me not to talk about Jay Leno, I will talk about Jay Leno for four fucking hours if you tell me not to.' I was done with Jay Leno, now I'm all fired up again. Fuck Jay. Take my job away from me. Who cares?"
The Monday after news of the "Tonight Show" cuts broke, Stern took to his radio show to say that he wasn't buying the company line that Leno took a significant salary reduction to save some of his staffers' jobs. “It’s all horse shit. It’s bullshit. It’s a smokescreen ... Here’s what it really means, and you can take this to the bank: Jay Leno is a scumbag. That’s what that means. He’s a spineless maggot. Jay wanted to cut staff. He’s embarrassed to do it. He didn’t want to come off as a bad guy. NBC took the hit for him, because they’re a corporation … My bullshit meter is going off all over the place."
And while Stern admitted he has no inside information on Comcast's reasoning for the downsizing, that doesn't mean NBC can get him to stop speculating. "They basically accused me of not knowing anything about the budget cuts ... and I'm like, 'Of course I don't.' I have theories. Fuck it. So what if I don't know about the budget cuts? I'll make it like I do know about it ... I don't answer to anybody. That's part of the game."
Stern also doubled down on his insults against Leno. "He's a backstabbing c--bag that I don't give a shit about. I don't care who I work for," Stern reiterated.
Although Stern has enjoyed his first season on "America's Got Talent," he made it clear he'd be willing to give it up if the alternative was backing down. "I love my job on 'AGT.' I love working for the people at NBC -- they've been nothing but wonderful. But please don't tell me what to say ... I'd rather leave the job than not talk about Jay Leno. It's fine -- fire me too. Please."
The scolding is a change in the way NBC has handled Stern since he came back to the network for "AGT." When "America's Got Talent" premiered in May, Stern told The Huffington Post that he "was thrilled" he got no pushback from NBC executives after slamming Leno on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon."
"No one has approached me on my feelings with Jay Leno. They know my feelings on Jay run deep. I was on Jimmy Fallon last night bad-mouthing Jay, and much to NBC's credit, after I finished, I said, 'Those executives are going to get a hold of Jimmy Fallon, and they're going to delete everything I said about Jay.' And they did not delete a word. And I must say, I am very proud of them. By the way, Jay handed in his resignation two hours ago. I'm sure Jay was pissed, but I admire that Jay didn't have it killed, and I admire that NBC didn't have it killed, and that I think is great

I know , but that's the reason Howard will give on why he's not back . He'd never willingly give up $10 million to judge a 3rd rate Gong Show clone.

Howard Stern Says NBC Exec Reprimanded Him for Jay Leno Dig

Howard Stern might be part of the NBC family with his "America's Got Talent" judging gig, but he certainly seems to be the black sheep among his new relatives.
Stern claimed on his radio show last Tuesday that an NBC executive made a "threatening kind of comment" to Stern after he blasted NBC late-night host Jay Leno as a "spineless maggot."
Stern slammed Leno last Monday on his show, following reports that Leno had taken a pay cut to save staffers' jobs after 20 employees were laid off from "The Tonight Show." The next day, Stern claimed on his Sirius XM Radio show that his attack on Leno was met with a chilly reception by one network executive.
"I got sort of a threatening kind of comment from one of the executives," Stern said. "I was laughing my ass off. I said, 'Do not tell me to not talk about Jay Leno. I will fucking talk about Jay Leno for four hours if you tell me not to. I was done with Jay Leno, now I'm all fired up again. Fuck Jay!"
On last Monday's radio show, Stern cast doubt on accounts that Leno was attempting to save staff members' jobs, suggesting to the contrary that Leno had wanted the staff cuts, and was hiding behind NBC.
"It's all horseshit," said Stern. "It's bullshit. It's a smokescreen...Here's what it really means, and you can take this to the bank: Jay Leno is a scumbag. That's what that means. He's a spineless maggot. Jay wanted to cut staff. He's embarrassed to do it. He didn't want to come off as a bad guy. NBC took the hit for him, because they're a corporation ... My bulls**t meter is going off all over the place."
While Stern -- who's had harsh words for Leno in the past -- declined to offer specifics about the alleged threat, he did assert that he won't be swayed by intimidation.
"Take my job away from me -- who cares?" Stern said. "I will never, ever, ever endorse Jay."
Stern said that the executive accused him of not knowing anything about the "Tonight Show" budget cuts.
"Of course I don't!" Stern admitted. "I have theories."

"Don't fucking threaten me. Are you out of your fucking mind?" Stern added. "I don't answer to anybody, everyone knows that. That's part of the game. and that's why I'm a great judge -- I would tell people if they sucked."
For good measure, Stern went on to call Leno a "backstabbing cumbag."
Stern stressed, however, that it's not all hard feelings -- at least between him and NBC.
"I love my job on 'AGT,' I love working for the people at NBC, they've been nothing but wonderful," Stern said. "But please don't tell me what to say. I'd rather leave than not talk about Jay Leno."
Stern joined "America's Got Talent" for its current seventh season, which premiered in May.

Nothing quoted here actually happened. Desperate bid for relevance, with a built in excuse when his contract isn't renewed.
