He hasn't aged one bit. He looks exactly the same today.
That would be attributed to Howard's brilliance with PhotoShop.
It left out the part where Howard rips off everything he did back then from Steve Dahl.
"Dial a Date" was made by Steve Dahl, as well as just about everything else Stern did back then. Calling the Bijou Theater, Black Helicopter Guy, interviewing fans on the street.... everything.
Howard invented Steve Dahl.
This site has gigs and gigs of old Steve & Garry shows. You can use Flashgot w/ DownloadThemAll for Firefox to save the mp3's, since for some reason there aren't any direct download links. I already have most of them.
You'll be very surprised to hear many bits that you always thought Stern "invented", long before the Pelican was even on the radio.
Howard invents! No one else invents!
what's with Fred's faggot beret?
are those sweatpants Howard was wearing (3:08 mark)?
Is it me or does it look like he's wearing a wig back then too???
Terrrrific post. I'd love to see more video of Howard in-studio in the 1980s. It's interesting to see him in that type of setting..
