Howard Stern paid $914,433 in property taxes on his mansion in Palm Beach, Florida last year — putting his place at No. 8 among the highest-taxed estates on the wealthy island.

The King of All Media, who earns $95 million a year, according to Forbes, came in behind Ken Griffin, the recently divorced hedge fund billionaire.

The list in the Palm Beach Daily News also includes David Koch, Related Companies’ Stephen M. Ross and financiers Nelson Peltz, Henry Kravis, Paul Tudor Jones II and Stephen Schwarzman.

95 million a year and he wants us suckers to pay for his Polish beard's kitten palace.

Funny how for the longest time, Stern denied having bought a mansion in Florida, using a pseudonym for the transaction.

He's really jutting out his jaw and sucking in his cheeks in that photo. It's always a put-on with him, from the voice to the "resting" face. It's no wonder he just wants to hide at home.

He (over)paid $50 million for the mansion, then another $10 million on renovations, and now he's paying almost a million a year in taxes alone. If his plan isn't to relocate to this place and do his 12 hours a week from his new home studio -- saving him a fortune on New York's income taxes -- then why is he spending all this money on a place he hardly visits?

He pays more in taxes in one year than 99.9999999% of the people paid for their homes.
That's what you get for pissing on your fans.

I have a cat just like the dark gray ones. The two dark gray ones are British Shorthairs; the other ones with the folded ears are Scottish Folds. :grad:

Is he paying the corporate rate or private rate? Generally speaking, corporations pay a lower property tax rate than private. He bought it through an LLC didn't he?

"Sure, the show isn't as good, but we owe it to Howard to continue to support him for giving us decades worth of entertainment," every stupid Stern cult member left.

The longer I go, the more the fact that Howard makes his fans pay to listen to mailing it in kinda pisses me off. If Howard was on free terrestrial radio, it wouldn't bother me as much. But he is basically praying on his weak minded remaining fans who are so brainwashed that they cannot see that Howard doesn't give a shit about them while he and his gold digging wife can be 1%ers. I can't believe I used to admire this guy.

The rubes dumb enough to shell out $15 a month to listen to his shitty product somewhat deserve what they get. But if I was Howard, I don't know if I could sleep at night knowing I was fucking over the fans who made me rich.

just because you live in a state with no income tax, it doesn't mean you dont pay comparatively high rates in property and sales taxes - gotta make those state budgets somehow.
