Howard taking Monday off (then working 2 days) would be pretty damn outrageous

Taking a lot of vacations is one thing.

Working three days a week is okay.

His 3 two-day weeks so far this year were totally justified (New Year's, MLK, President's Day were all genuine holidays.

But for Howard to take a non-holiday Monday off would be totally different.

It would be crazy. It would be tantamount to a sick day-- without being sick.

    It's gonna be crazy, yo.

Howard signed a contract to do a minimum number of shows in 2012. He will hit whatever that number is despite how they are spread out. This is phony outrage.

He already explained that he'll be taking certain mondays off following AGT tapings. You should have seen this coming.

Howard: "I re-signed because SIRIUS and the fans wanted me to stay, I was ready to leave!"

There's a lot of year left after AGT wraps for the season and it starts up for next. Howard will work every hour required under contract and not 1 extra.

As a fan who now has to fast forward through the majority of the AGT promo I take it back and do not want him to stay. At this point no Howard is better than some Howard.

I was never one of the people that was "ok" with Hamptons Howie going to a 4 day week, let alone 3 or 2... now days I hope he keeps doing less days, the less he works, the less relevant he is.....

I love it, if it causes more sheep to be turned off to him and cancel Sirius I say he should work less. I don't see how people can enjoy his current show. Even in a car silence is better.

Am I the only one who thinks that Howard works TOO much? The shit bumpers, frequent commercial breaks, constant AGT and NBC plugs and nauseating live reads are already too much for me. I don't think I could handle a Listening Thread for three days in a row, two weeks in a row.

    Am I the crazy one?

The notion that avoiding the mess the HSS has become necessitates listening to silence is absurd. Over the years, as repeat shows and tradio filler gnawed at me, I have learned to enjoy NPR, the CBC, several of the music stations, several of the alternative comedy and commentary stations. In the end, I realized there was better out there. But there is no reason to endure silence, even if Howard thinks we are lambs.

True dat Art! They need to kick the habit, end their disillusioned misery and tune in to NPR! So interesting and no commercials! There's a whole world out there peoples! You can still love your memories of the fun and funny Howard but he ain't coming back no matter how long you wait. :dontknow:

I am sure Howard's contract requires less days of work each year, last year he worked "some Thursdays" subtract all the Thursdays he worked las year except December and you will get this years total.
