Actually Ice-t is a huge old school punk and metal fan--he grew up with a cousin who turned him onto Black Flag, Sabbath, X, etc.

Wiggy's correct by accident. Hendrix has nothing to do with metal.

Wouldn't you say it is because Ice T released crossover records in a band called Body Count, has been frequently seen in public wearing the clothing
of metal and punk acts and has worked with bands like Black Sabbath and Slayer? Jimi Hendrix Experience is hard rock, not heavy metal. I wouldn't
expect somebody who thinks Mountain is the most brutal, savage thing going to get that, however.

In the last year, Howard's had Metallica and Black Sabbath on the show and still his feeble, decaying mind can only connect heavy metal to Jimi Hendrix?
