.....at random times during non show hours
it will happen once.....................and then never again
he's practicing for when he moves his entire show to that shithole in Florida..
I can hardly wait. will I need to get Sirius to listen ?
he's not really going back to that schtick from 2005 is he?
"robin its in the notebook of ideas..when we have something to say to the fans we'll just hop on the isdn line and talk to them on the third channel"
viva la revolution
But Howard loves to pay New York taxes I thought. He loves big government.
This is absolutely it. He is warming up for the transition. Look at all the pieces falling into place: No more HTV, reduced staff, far fewer bits. . . . it all points to doing a more interview-intensive show from a remote location.
Stern is all in trying to prank Sirius into another radio contract.
So how does this work? Will he be broadcasting alone, or does the whole staff have to suddenly hop onto ISDN when he decides he's got something to say?
Howard is all in
I am for any change.
Look, I didn't take a pay-cut. I get to work from Florida from my home, don't have the staff I used to, the pressures are a lot less, I don't have to keep that apartment in Manhattan. . . . I got a RAISE, fucknut!
probably. He recycles everything else, including the "you're not invited" schtick he used at the wedding/birthday show
Jay Thomas broadcasts from his home in Santa Barbara and everyone else is in a different location.
Robin has been doing it for a year. Howard's jealous.
At this point he could attach two yogurt containers to a kite string and broadcast that way for all I care. I know he still had listeners, but does anyone really think new ground is being broken at this point? The HSS is just collecting rent payments from Sirius subscribers at thus point.
Reminds me of -
"we'll take off some Fridays, Robin"
how often does he have something to say?
Back in the 90s people were comparing the wig to the fat pumpkin head, now they're going down the same path.
