So I just upgraded to iOS 7 and tapped on my music icon. The new "home" screen instantly profiled iTunes Radio, which I guess Apple is pushing pretty hard.

Anyway, we know Howard is going to leave big bad SiriusXM at the end of his contact, for treating him so horribly, but I've been thinking his next move is probably to Apple. Think about it, he's been shamelessly (and clandestinely) plugging them for years, and even tweeted (lamely) about their new upgrade to iOS 7 yesterday.

My question is: will Apple be as stupid as SiriusXM (and NBC, to a lesser extent) was and give Howard another huge, marble-filled payday to be the face (ugh) of iTunes Radio?

"I've got notebooks full of ideas that we're gonna do when we move to iTunes Radio, Robin!"

    From Cult of Mac:

    http://www.cultofmac.com/72025/rumo...gn-600mm-deal-with-apple/#S1fkztcI3o8vEYPp.99

"The problem with this rumor though is Appleā€™s own standards of decency. Time and time again, Apple has pulled content from the App Store that they have deemed objectionable, even in the case of apps lightly caricaturizing public figures. Steve Jobs himself described the iOS experience as one that was about 'freedom from porn.' Is Howard Stern really the kind of guy Apple would want to get in bed with a guy who has racked up over $2.5 million in FCC indecency fines to launch a new network?"

This guy obviously hasn't listened to the watered down version of a bull shit show Stern has been fleecing SiriusXM with since Artie left. They've got nothing to fear from "America's Judge."

No company will hire the Wig for the amount of money he'll want. He's notorious for being a bad employee and / or owner (depending on if there is a SEC investigation into stock trades) and he puts zero effort into the show.

His only option will be to podcast, but that would require him to build his own studio, like Carolla did; Wiggy won't spend money for that. Also, he'd have to get advertisers on his own. At some point Fresh Balls, Ashley Madison, etc. will see that his that no one is downloading the podcast.

Wiggy has burned all the bridges and should just retire to ponder his empty life beside one of his 15 chimneys or in the humidity of Florida.

It would be interesting if that wigged faggot signed with iTunes. Those numbers wouldn't lie, even if Howard said that 4 people sit around someone's iPad listening to his show, or whatever the fuck he said his listener amount was at Sirius.

Won't most large companies avoid a contract with him for fear of litigation?

At this point in time is there anyone besides MFB, Bobo & that asshole Mutt who would pay $9.95 per month for access to a Howard Stern Show app?

The earlier stories about the big iTunes deal were just stories planted by Don. I doubt Apple would give Howard the kind of deal he wants - after AGT, it's clear that the millions of devoted Stern fans no longer exist and hiring an old queen won't help the company's image. Perhaps there could be an offer with pay based on the number of listeners, but Wiggy always wants big $ guaranteed.

Apple better learn from Sirius's mistakes of letting this lazy fuck barely work. OR say you better get some talent around you because the show's numbers in the last couple years have slipped as well its unlistenable.

Fuchwald planted them (late Nov/early Dec 2010) as a negotiating ploy to try and get Mel K/Sirius to pony up more $'s.

Mel was pissed that the former Sirius management gave such a rich contract and wanted to rein it in. Any Forbes story saying wiggy still makes the same salary as the 1st contract is BS. Sirius won't correct it because they have no interest in doing so, but if the contract was as big as the 1st they would have had to report it in their SEC filings like they had to on the 1st contract.

IF the wig was worth 2/3's of $80MM per year at the end of 2010, he would be lucky to get 1/2 of that now.
