I only listened to five minutes today, but I heard Howard hyping Beth's book and he said he was going to put a link to it on his website so people can buy it. This used to be the most controversial guy on radio hocking a friggin children's book.

BTW, I looked at his website to see if it up there yet and it is sickening how many Beth/NSAL links they have on the front page. On the main slider, Beth and adopt a pet is the #2 slider image/link and there is an ad for NSAL right underneath that.

EDIT: The title of this thread should be "Howard won't make fans buy T-Shirt"

Listen buddy, Don Buchwald takes a lot off the top. Howard needs to make that back somehow.

Just *imagine* how different the show would be if he would have stayed with Angie Everhart instead

If he was ever really with Angie Everhart. I think all the Buchwald clients he supposedly dated (Angie, Robin Givens) were all fake girlfriends to make Howard look like a stud and get exposure for Buchwald's clients. Everhart became Howard's "girlfriend" like a month after she signed with Buchwald and Associates.

I agree. Funny that several of his girls were DBA

Also I don't think Howard can or cannot make me buy anything. His points were always it needs to be content related not merchandise, but I agree that the Beth love on his website is lame, but I rarely visit there (no reason to, it really offers zero).

I'm certain that was a Buchwald 'relationship'. Publicists often pair up clients with flagging profiles to get them into the limelight. Other than the obviously fake "best date" phone call, and one event at which they appeared on stage together, there didn't appear to be anything going on between them, and Angie was always travelling.

Besides that, it's been pretty well established that the timeline of Howard and Beef's relationship does not square with his so-called "mad tear". That said, anyone but Beth would have been better for the show.

And there are no photos of Howard out on a date with any of these women during his "mad tear."

Yes Givens & Angie were (assuming the info was correct, which I think it was).
The weird thing is both were after the fact.
Usually set ups occur at events for press to see
It could be that it was to cover up a Beth timeline (for some reason) or to make him look studlier

Actually, I got the timeline wrong. Howard and Angie announced they were dating on the air on January 10, 2010 and announced the signing on February 16th. Don probably used Howard to recruit Angie or they were in negotiations to recruit Angie and used Howard to close the deal.

Here is a link that shows Everhart signed with Buchwald and Associates in February of 2000.

The quality of the website equals the amount of effort he puts into it so it's not really surprising. When I used to listen a year or so ago, I remember Jason being in charge and he had some guy on the West Coast handling the design and probably being paid peanuts. There was a lot of miscommunication and laziness going on. For someone with a billion dollars in the bank and the King of All Media, his web presence should look it and be current with the latest technology and innovations.

When the specifics of that attempted Sirius merger larceny was revealed where Stern tried to connive an undeserved $300mil, I couldn't believe that Buchwald also was in line to be paid yet another 10% or $30mil off the top. Since when, in cases like this, does the agent also have the justification to stick his hands in the client's employer's pocket rather than taking his percentage out of his client's earnings or in this case, unearned windfall? WTF??

How thoughtful of Howard to include a link on his website, just to help out his millions of fans. I wouldn't be surprised if he puts an Amazon affiliate link to the book on his website - that way he'd get a cut of proceeds from all 'qualifying purchases' that the person bought after clicking on the link, not just beefus' book.
