Although his are the extreme example... My father recently had to stop driving, so I've been driving his car instead of my beater. He has XM, but not Howard's channels. What I remember from my Sirius days is still the case today- the music channels, while a ton of options, are lazy and repetitive. I like Hair Nation (deal with it, I love metal and rock of all kinds). The programming is either just on random shuffle, or whomever programs the channel is a dope. There is no way that I should be hearing House of Lords cover of "Can't Find My Way Home" two days in a row....And I have heard Sam Kinison doing "Wild Thing" three times in the last week. How many times do I have to hear Poison's "Cry Tough" a week??? I find the same with stations like Classic Vinyl. You've got the history of rock to deal with and you keep playing the same 200 songs? Even Deep Tracks doesn't delve too deeply into the albums. They play the same "deep tracks" over and over. Rant over.
