Ok, I caught about 5 minutes of the TV Cast member Wrap Up Show and they were talking about different characters on the Simpsons. When they mentioned Moe, Shuli said the Simpsons' writers created him based on Howard's phony phone calls bits.

So Shuli actually thinks Howard created Moe who was obviously created to the but of a joke a lot kids play as kids of crank calling people. It had absolutely nothing to do with Howard.

Jerry Lewis did prank calls in the 50s, but Howard invented it.

And the crazy cat lady is based on Beth, the fat comic book guy is based on Jason, Mr. Teeny the ape is based on Gary, and Mr. Burns = Howard. "I invented everything, Robin!"

I heard that it was Howard who advised Harpo Marx not to talk at all in the movies.

And that Howard invented the curve ball.

And putting trees inside the house at Christmas time was also Howard's idea.

And it was Howard who told God that fire should be hot. (God was going to make fire feel soft until Howard talked him out of it.)

The one I find ridiculous is sharknado. Howard was on the air FIVE DAYS after it first aired and m mentioned the movie and twitter hype. He made a few really bad jokes about the movie and then found out they were replaying later that week. Gary said syfy decided to replay it because Howard talked about it. And then Howard took credit for the good ratings....

Gary also said that they were going to remake it because Howard was throwing out ideas of other possibilities

...and according to Gary there will a Sharknado II because of Howard.

'vote for Sanjaya' was the same thing
Stern jumped on the bandwagon and took all the credit.

Stern decides to push the breaks on and sit there like a fucking stone cold statue with no personality accepting no non-sense while being truly devoted to his wife. This is the new "Brand"

I recall a journeyman radio guy from the 70's (still working, I think) named Mark Simone who had a bit on whatever NYC AM station he was working called "The Simone Phone." Howard turned it into his radio 'Dial-A-Date." I never heard Simone complain. Only Howard invents; only Howard whines :rolleye:
