I wonder what he plays. No one ever ever asks what kind of amp, guitar, etc that he has.
He claimed a guitar company wanted to supply a "rig" for him and that this company is used by Metallica. I wonder if its Mesa Boogie or ESP/Ltd. I wouldn't pass that up if I was a guitar player. I'd happily take a triple rectifyer. He commented that the acoustic in the studio played better than his guitar. You think he had am assistant gov to guitar center and buy a cheap Schecter or a stratacoustic guitar? Lol and a crappy Behringer amp? Guitar center sucks and they always try to sell those brands to people.

Its probably a nice axe, bit its set up 'haarribly' as he probably does not know better. A well set up Squier Strat is much nicer to play than a 10K PRS with a terrible setup!

Stern is an insult to people who have spent the better part of their lives learning the craft. I hope people like Richard Christy laugh behind this old fools back at his lame attempts to waste air time.

Giving Howard primo ESP or Gibson gear is like giving Eric the Midget a Ducati Superbike.

a good guitarist like jeff beck can get an awesome tone out of the shittiest guitar/amp combo.
it doesn't matter what fancy, expensive set-up a fake guitarist like howard stern uses, it will sound like garbage.

The closest thing to an instrument the wig plays is the skin flute. :c

This is very true. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to play an actual Carl Thompson bass. I played some Primus on it and well.... yep. Needless to say I didn't sound like Les Claypool. At all.
