With Liberty Media rolling up the rugs on what's left of the Sirius/XM experiment (see other post on Liberty Media), and HowardTV closing it's doors, it smells like Howchee is going to have to make a move soon. This is usually the time (2 years left on contract) when we start hearing about "Project X", and all that bull$hit. The next move for the media/radio business is getting the Internet into cars - whether it's via Cellular or Satellite, or something else. This was something Sirius/XM failed at embracing. The car companies are pushing for "connected" cars now - soon we'll have the Internet in our cars - giving us access to Pandora/AppleRadio/Podcasts from our dashboards. Howard is smart enough to know all this - so what's his next move. I can't believe it's retirement. His ego and arm-candy won't allow it. The AGT thing is just about as dried up as Beth's cooch. He's had a chance to go to podcast - and refused. Where does he go next?
