Seem to not want to be stuck in the same house as beth .
Listening to that now.
She seems not nice
I think the last time they stayed with him Beth told Howard she could hear them yelling from the other side of the house. I wouldn't feel comfortable staying with them either.
What? Beth? Feh!
They still like the mother of their grand kids better.
THIS. Gotta be.
Strange that they haven't warmed yet to the gold-digging whorse.
Strange nothing. Ray Stern is a tough old bird who is able to see Beth for what she really is - a vapid, moronic shiksa who had little to offer by way of intelligent conversation or discourse and is more interested in how she looks than how anyone feels. I'll bet that Ray has berated Howard in private many times for dumping Alison and taking up with this brainless, gawky doofus. "Believe you me," if there is one thing Jewish mothers are good at, its making their children feel guilty.
Look at it from their perspective:
Wife #1 vs. Wife #2
Jewish vs. non-Jewish
Mother vs. "animoe activist"
Professional vs. "professional" (if you use the Middle-Eastern sense)
Self-confident vs. self-absorbed
Successful vs. gold digger
This... Ben is actually Nemo
I don't think the Jewish thing concerns Ray all that much.
Probably not a lot as the grandkids are Jewish, but I'm sure she's getting flack from her friends "Howard remarried and she's not even Jewish", etc.
Isn't it Beth's house.....and not necessarily Howard's.
As in her name is on the title?
No they belong to OneTwelve, Inc. Are they marital assets?
She does run the house I am sure.
And about his parents..did anyone hear the part earlier in the summer where he and Beth were going to drop in on them and his Mom said no??
Yes. The idea was for Howard to drop off cash to his dad for Father's Day, but Ray did not bite
They are some old fucking people and really old people don't want to go anywhere or do anything. When they get to that point you just let them be and let them die since they are pretty close to death.
